Seeing Wolves fans celebrate survival in the Premiership with a good-natured pitch invasion made me think. I am one of those (many) football supporters who has celebrated avoiding relegation far more often than celebrating promotion or championship of a league. I guess that is the lot for most football fans to live with when leagues are dominated by a few rich teams!!
